Step 1: Initial Consultation/Meeting (Free!):
When we first meet, we will go over any thoughts and visions you have about your invitation package. Do you have a theme, special location or color pallet already in mind? We will show you paper samples, color options, fonts and wording. You can then select embellishments and share any inspiration you have for a custom design. We will finalize a deadline for your invitations depending on when they need to be sent out (roughly 10-12 week before your big day).
Step 2: Concept Building:
We start by reviewing your goals and ideas for your special day either in person, over the phone or through email. Wedding colors will be provided to the designer before any sketches begin. We will present 2 entirely different design concepts to you. After you review the concepts, we’ll ask you to focus on one concept or a combination of concepts that works best for you.
Step 3: Fonts and wording:
You will be presented with and asked to choose the font of your choice. You can provide invitation wording or chose from a wide array of samples we provide.
Step 4: Viewing samples, making changes:
Once you receive your sample, look at it for a few days, show your friends, get some opinions and then come back to us with any feedback and changes you would like to make. Your sample will include any stationery you chose to have in your package – invitation, rsvp card, custom wedding map, save the date card, etc… You will be able to get one alternate sample free of charge after your changes are made.
Step 5: Reviewing a Final Proof:
When you have chosen the invitation package that is perfect for you, we will give you a final proof of your entire package. You will receive images of your order, our terms and conditions, and an invoice with the remainder of your balance.
Step 6: Creation:
Once we receive your signed final proof we will start to create your custom wedding package. We usually allow 4-6 weeks for production. We will call you to let you know when your order is complete and if distance allows, drop it off free of charge or have them delivered.
